Simone Ashley joined DeMellier in celebrating the opening of its first-ever flagship store in London on Thursday, marking a milestone for the British accessories label whose bags have been carried by Catherine, Princess of Wales, and Meryl Streep.
Simone Ashley and minimalism aren’t two things I often associate with each other, but the British actress made a convincing case for it in TOVE’s red Beth dress.
What I love about this look is that the colour does most of the talking, with the softly draped detail providing a focal point without distracting from the dress’s simplicity.
My only change would have been the bag. While the black DeMellier Stockholm bag complemented her black mules, I feel the label’s Vancouver clutch would have been a much better choice with this dress.
