≡ A Rare Look At Nearly Makeup-Free Melania Trump 》 Helitra.com

Donald Trump was one of the most controversial presidents ever, and his wife, Melania, was also a very divisive first lady. Melania has been criticized not only for her appearance but for not being as dignified as the wives of presidents who came before her. The former FLOTUS has gotten flack for wearing too much makeup, and non-Trumpers have no shame when it comes to roasting her about the topic.

One user on X, formerly known as Twitter, said,  “My license picture looks like Melania Trump with no makeup.” Melania has been perceived as deceptive, and her over-dependence on cosmetics is a major aspect of that reputation.

During Donald’s presidential term, the couple visited London, where Melania Trump decided to make an extra stop and meet some schoolchildren. One student commented on Melania’s appearance, saying, “I’m gonna be honest and say her make-up was a bit much. It made her look sad, but actually, she was very happy.” Other kids who had the pleasure of meeting with the Slovenian-born model agreed with that opinion, commenting that Melania was much kinder than they thought she would be based on her makeup-heavy aesthetic.

Some may think the thick spackling of makeup was an oversight on the former first lady’s part, but in reality, it was a meticulously crafted look. Nicole Bryl, who has been Melania’s makeup artist for many years, explained to US Weekly before Donald Trump’s inauguration that it takes approximately an hour and fifteen minutes of hard work to apply makeup “if you want the look to be flawless” and have it last all day long.

In throwback pictures of Melania, she looks like a different person without any makeup. Some will credit that to cosmetic procedures, but the star claims she never went under the knife. The power of beauty products is undeniable!

Melania Trump goes for the natural look in 2002

A memorable photo from September 2002 shows Donald with his new wife, Melania, and his ex-wife, Ivana Trump, spending time at New York Fashion Week.  The snapshot is significant because it shows how different Melania’ appears without a heaping side of makeup. Although she is still wearing eyeliner, she is rocking a much more natural look than we’re used to today, allowing her vibrant blue eyes to shine all on their own.

Nicole Bryn, the ex-FLOTUS’s makeup artist, told Women’s Wear Daily that her client looked fabulous with or without makeup. She called her “one of the most stunning, beautiful” ladies on the planet and asserted that she’s also one of the kindest.

According to Melania, her glowing skin is due to an extensive self-care regimen. Before her husband was voted into office, Melania told Allure all about her rigorous and painstaking process to keep her skin moisturized. It consists of creams and tonics featuring formulas that are packed with vitamins, and one important beauty hack.

In the 2011 interview, she admitted that she always takes her makeup off before she goes to sleep and puts extra care into nurturing her skin at night. Based on this next photo of Melania with minimal makeup, the proof is in the pudding.

Why Melania never got plastic surgery

In this photo from December 1998  at the W New York Hotel grand opening, Melania and Donald had first started dating. Wearing practically no makeup, her look was so natural that she was nearly unrecognizable. Later that year, the couple attended a Marc Jacobs Fashion Show, where she put on the iconic makeup-heavy look she’s known for today. The result? She looked like FLOTUS Melania. It’s jaw-dropping that just wearing beauty products can make such a difference to someone’s appearance, even when they’re decades younger.

Some will be shocked to learn that Melania never went under the knife, but the former model addressed the rumors in 2016, telling GQ, “A lot of people say I am using all the procedures for my face. I didn’t do anything.” She claimed that her looks were due to living a healthy life and taking good care of her body and skin. She even stated that she was against Botox and injections.
